I've been a Manfrotto fan for many years and have a few other items of their likes tripods and larger stands.I was looking for more compact, but sturdy, stands so I could set up a small shooting space in my spare room. I didn't want flimsy thin legs as I need to be able to use the stands for heavy backdrops or lights. These compact stands really do the trick!They're great quality and not likely to buckle or bend. The compact air system is great when lowering bigger lights as they softly lower rather and crash down to the next section. They extend higher than I need which is also great for such a compact system. I also love the way you can nest multiple stands together for neat storage or travel as they clip into the next stand so you're not juggling 2 or 3 lose stands.I'm not sure they'd be great outdoors on a windy day unless you weight them down and you had something light on them like a speedlight. But these are great for indoor spaces that are a bit tight. Perfect for a home studio setup. Definitely worth the price 'cause they're quality through and through!
