UPdATE:We have now been addicted to this game for over a year. Love it!there are code glitches in a few courses. some of them we have found ways around, but a couple we just don't play.we, too, have played all of the mini golf games available for WII. This is still the best.As mentioned although the whole family will love it, impatient people or small children will be frustrated by the difficulty of some holes. Adults who love a challenge that does not get boring after time should really enjoy this. there are so many courses at so many levels that we keep a notebook so we can either replay the ones we have trouble with or avoid those we don't like as much... like when the hole is on a ramp... very hard.Also we have fun with the replay a stroke or replay the hole option. You lose a couple strokes but you can try a lot of crazy shortcuts. The highest par is a par 18... yet we think that it is overrated and should be a par 8 0r 9. On the other hand there are some par 6's that should be a par twenty.The single play option is fun for practice and to accumulate golf dollars to buy golf apparel and clubs and helpers. the apparel carries over to your "gang" golf mode called PARTY. The clubs and helpers are just carried to your next singles game.This would be a great gift for someone who is used to being active but is housebound. You can play alone or with friends and you can play easily in bed or sitting in a chair... or add the WII golf club and stand for realistic action.YOU MUST USE A MOTION PLUS REMOTE OR THE MOTION PLUS ADD ON FOR THIS GAME.hOURS AND MONTHS AND YEARS OF FUN. We are trading in all of the others.My husband, brother and I are all over 50 and we have loved the other WII games but got tired of the mini golf game in the party bundle. It is fun but after we learned the tricks on how to get holes-in one on almost all holes it was losing our interest. MIN GLOF RESORT to the rescue!!!!!This really isn't for little kids. It takes thought and reasoning and patience. The remotes do work a little differently than with other games and this takes practice. WE used both the regular and the motion plus.There are so many courses that I can see us playing for years. There was a lot of groaning and much laughter as we played the DAvy jones Locker courses.They are wacky and unique. A lot of creative thought and time went into them. It is not like playing a real mini-golf landgame. This is video at it's best. Angles don't always bounce like you expect. The side rails, when there, are not consistent. This makes for even more fun. Unlike other minigolf you can hit it too far and land way off course.The scenes are wonderful. My favorite so far is the world of spooky where we have played Goblin's garden and one other. Pegasus Pasture in the Greek themed world is beautiful and not quite as challenging until you get past the first couple of games.There are 4 worlds and around 14 courses in each. There are always 18 holes with your choice of playing all or the front 9 or back 9. It advertises over a thousand holes! We haven't even opened the bonuses or new choices yet. this is a keeper.We purchased it at around 21 dollars and it is well worth the price.One note; use high quality remotes for more accuracy. Our WII brand remotes out performed the after market brand by far.Over all we are very pleased with this and look forward to the challenge
